This is a thread where we can document our musical synchronicities. You know that moment when you felt a song came on the radio, or shuffled randomly or when you were out somewhere and a particular song started playing and it gave you goosebumps because of its level of appropriateness.
I had a weird one yesterday, driving back from birdwatching with friends. I was on this huge Californian bridge/interchange with about four lanes of traffic in both directions. I was at a traffic light and about a mile ahead of me I saw a couple of huge fire trucks headed into the community college. My playlist with 15 hrs worth of music on it had was playing Smoke Signals by Phoebe Bridgers. As I approached the next stop light, sirens blared and I could see in my mirror, more fire trucks and as I switched lanes to let them get around and ahead of me, the song ended and the next one that started, Who by Fire - PJ Harvey (Bad Sisters’ Soundtrack).
I mean the chances of those songs playing at that moment and following on each other’s heels like that when the playlist was on shuffle? Whaaaat? Also even the lyrics contain the titles which is not always the case!
